Carlos Sainz hosts F1 at his home: the Madring is ready for the Spanish GP

• Carlos Sainz is set to race for the very first time in a Formula 1 Grand Prix in his home city, Madrid. He will be using a special helmet inspired by the one he used as a kid, which was also inspired by the helmet that his father used in his last seasons in the World Rallying Championship.
• Madring is set to pose a unique challenge to all drivers, which as of now, have only been able to know it through the simulator. It is an unforgiving circuit and it hosts a wide range of corners, including the banked Monumental.
• It is not known for now just how easy it will be to pass on track, which means that Saturday’s Qualifying will have a special importance. This Friday’s practice sessions will be key to gain confidence and work on the set-up.
