Carlos Sainz and Gobik forge exclusive cycling partnership

Gobik, the Murcia-based cycling apparel brand known for high-performance race-cut jerseys and bib shorts, announces a multi-year strategic partnership with Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz. The collaboration will include exclusive lines curated and co-designed with Carlos Sainz.
Carlos Sainz, a four-time Formula 1 winner and currently competing with the Atlassian Williams F1 team, is a passionate cyclist who trains extensively on the bike during his time off track throughout the racing calendar worldwide. Gobik was founded in 2010 around a cycling club in Yecla (Spain) and has rapidly grown into one of Europe’s most respected performance cycling brands, supplying WorldTour professional teams and elite triathletes.
The partnership is founded on a genuine set of values held in common by both parties: Spanish origins, performance-obsessed, a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. For Gobik, collaborating with one of sport’s most globally recognized Spanish athletes and motorsport figures extends the brand’s reach into premium lifestyle markets worldwide, far beyond traditional cycling audiences. For Carlos, partnering with Gobik delivers technical credibility and access to world-class manufacturing capacities, bringing his racing DNA and authenticity to a sportswear line built around the realities of his own daily training life.
The first release of the partnership will include two product capsules. A Gobik x 55 signature collection will feature co-designed race and training, bringing the racing spirit into cycling. The second, a dedicated Gobik chapter within the upcoming Fifty Five brand, will offer premium cycling lifestyle apparel targeting fans and athletes who connect with the Sainz ethos, curated and developed with direct input from Carlos on everything from fit to colourways and performance standards. Distribution will be available globally through Gobik’s direct-to-consumer channels and in Carlos’ online channels, with select pop-up activations planned for specific events.
The partnership is announced today, July 01, 2026, during the British Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone Circuit. The capsules are expected to launch commercially on August 25, 2026.
"Cycling is a core part of my training. I spend at least two hours a day on the bike, and whoever knows me knows I love being outdoors — it is simply part of who I am. Gobik's attention to fit and fabric is on another level, and this partnership felt natural from the very first conversation. For me, it was never just about putting my name on a kit — I was hands-on throughout the design process, from fabrics to colourways. I have been wearing my 55 kit for a while now, and with the Fifty Five collection, we wanted to give a first taste of what the brand will be about: quality, and finding something extraordinary in the everyday moments of life away from the track."
Carlos Sainz, Formula 1 Driver & Founder, Fifty Five
“Carlos represents everything Gobik stands for: speed, discipline, and Spanish character. This is not a sponsorship — it is a genuine co-creation with an athlete who lives the sport we design for every day.”
Alberto García Cantero, Co founder of Gobik
