• Carlos’ first season as a Ferrari race driver comes to an end in Yas Marina. He has scored three podiums this year: he finished in second place at the Monaco GP and came in third in Hungary and Russia.
• Achieving the fifth place in the Drivers’ Championship is the biggest challenge for the Spaniard coming to this weekend. Now it is 8.5 points away.
• This year the layout of the Yas Marina has been slightly adjusted. This has resulted in two new corners, Turn 5 and Turn 9, which are now faster and contribute to overtaking, according to the organizers.
