- Race: P2, 58 laps
- Carlos Sainz finished the Abu Dhabi GP in second place, bringing to an end four years in which he has been an official race driver for Scuderia Ferrari.
- From third on the grid, the Spaniard moved up to second by seizing a contact between Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri in the first corner. From then on, he put pressure on race leader Lando Norris.
- Carlos showcased a great pace throughout the race and drove away into the distance with Norris, but his SF-24 had a small deficit to the McLaren, especially on the Hard tyre compound.
- Carlos came in second and Charles Leclerc finished also on the podium, but in the end the Constructors’ Championship was for McLaren.
- Carlos will remain in Abu Dhabi in the upcoming days to take part in the post season testing days, when he will have the chance to work for the very first time with the Williams Racing team, his new home in Formula 1 from 2025 onwards.
