• Carlos Sainz is set to start the Dutch GP from the fifth row of the grid, after clinching ninth place in the Qualifying session.
• The Williams race driver made it through Q1 (1:09.980) and Q2 (1:09.472) despite an increase in the temperature which didn’t benefit the FW47. In any case, he managed to find a way to the final round.
• In Q3, the Spanish race driver set his fastest time in his first try (1:09.940), in which he made the most of his car.

“It was a tricky and very tight Qualifying. We needed very solid laps to progress through the session and, whilst it’s slightly disappointing to not be higher up the order, we maximised what we could and P9 is a decent position to fight tomorrow. We’ll keep an eye on the weather and give our best during the race”.
