- Carlos Sainz races this weekend in the Sao Paulo GP, usually known as the Brazilian GP. He will be tackling the second-to-last Sprint of the year with only four rounds to finish the season.
- The Williams race driver arrives in Interlagos feeling confident after good pace in the last few races, which he hopes to maintain in the upcoming races.
- The Brazilian GP is a special race for Carlos, as it is the place where he clinched his very first podium as a Formula 1 driver in 2019.
QUOTES:
“Heading to Brazil for what will be another Sprint weekend, I’m looking forward to driving around this iconic track where anything can happen. Being a Sprint, we’ll be limited on practice sessions, so we’ll look to get up to speed early on car setup. Sao Paulo weather always plays a part across the weekend, so we’ll look to capitalise on any opportunities we can. The Brazilian fans are so passionate about F1, so it’s always a great week with a lot of support!".
