• Carlos Sainz races this weekend in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, a racetrack where he has scored points in every visit but in 2025 and where he will feel once again the support of his fans, including over 3000 unconditionals placed at the Grada CS55.
• Montmeló is the perfect track to assess the performance of the Williams FW48 compared to the rest of the cars, with the additional challenge of energy management: super-clipping is expected for the race and lift-and-coast might take a more prominent role than in the last few races.
• Tyres are one compound softer than last season, which might lead to a higher degradation if temperatures are high for the Qualifying session and the race itself.
