Red Bull Ring (4,318 metres long, 10 corners, in the calendar since 1970)

PREVIOUSLY:

• The Styrian GP makes its second appearance in the calendar as the first round of the double-header that Formula 1 is set to celebrate this season at the Red Bull Ring.
• Last year, Carlos was third in the Qualifying session under a heavy rain. He was on his way to finishing the race in fifth place, but a slow pit-stop dropped him to ninth.
• Before travelling to Austria, the Spaniard was in Maranello to contribute to the analysis of the issues experienced at the last French GP.
