Carlos Sainz races in the world’s fastest street circuit at the Saudi Arabia GP

Jeddah Corniche Circuit (6,174 metres, 27 corners, in the calendar since 2021)

PREVIOUSLY:

  • The superfast street circuit of Jeddah hosts this weekend the second edition of the Saudi Arabia GP, which completes the first back-to-back of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship.
  • The Saudi track is very special. Even though it is a street circuit, the average speed is over 250 kilometres/hour and it is the second longest circuit in the calendar. This year some changes have been made in order to enhance safety.
  • Carlos finished eighth in his last visit to Jeddah, in which he recovered seven places in an eventful race. After his second place in the Bahrain GP, this year the ambitions are even higher.
