Mexico GP, Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (4,304 meters, 17 corners, in the calendar since 1963)
- Carlos Sainz races this weekend at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the highest racetrack in the entire calendar, placed at 2,240 meters above sea level.
- The altitude of Ciudad de Mexico affects the aerodynamics of the cars: the air is thinner and hence the teams use bigger wings to create the same downforce they would generate with smaller wings in other tracks. Engines and turbos also struggle in thinner air.
- Carlos has scored points in his two previous appearences in the Mexico GP, with a fifth place in the 2022 edition as his best result to date.
