Carlos Sainz returns to a challenging but fun track for the Dutch GP

Dutch GP, Circuit Zandvoort (4,259 meters, 14 corners, in the calendar since 1952)

  • Carlos Sainz and Formula 1 as a whole return from the summer break this weekend with the Dutch GP, a race with one of the best atmospheres in the entire calendar.
  • The Williams race driver has finished fifth in his last two visits to the circuit of Zandvoort, which poses a unique challenge to all drivers due to its banked corners and a track that is narrow for today’s standards in Formula 1.
  • Williams heads to the second half of the season with the clear goal of strengthening itself in the fifth place of the Constructors Championship, where they lead Aston Martin by 18 points.
