- Carlos starts in Brazil the final part of the season, which will finish next week in Abu Dabi. Interlagos hosts the third Sprint race of the year.
- The Spaniard is determined to finish the year on a high, convinced that he is in the best form of the season despite the setbacks he has suffered in the last few races.
