• The Spaniard of Renault set the twelfth fastest time (1:23.193) in the second Free  Practice session.
• The morning  rain eased away and practice went underway in dry conditions.
• Renault  split aero set-ups between its two cars to perform technical checks. Carlos ran  on an older wing, prioritizing downforce for Qualifying.
• On a single  set of softs, he put together two race-runs of 10 and 15 laps, plus a shorter  stint of 5. On supersofts, he clocked 4 laps and achieved his best time.
