Carlos Sainz races in front of his fans in the Spanish GP

Spanish GP, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (4,675 meters, 16 corners, in the calendar since 1991)

Carlos comes back home this weekend in a sold out Spanish GP. Expectations among the fans are at the highest point as the crowd tries to help him achieve his maiden Formula 1 victory.
The Spaniard will have the full support of the Grada CS55, which was sold out in less than two hours. 4,200 supporters will make themselves heard above the engines.
This is Carlos' first time racing in front of his local fans as a Ferrari driver, as last season the crowd attendance was severaly restricted due to the pandemic.
Carlos has always scored points at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where his best result up to this day is a sixth place in the 2016 Grand Prix.
