- The Ferrari race driver overcame two red flags in Q1 (1:42.197), but he was forced to use two sets of Soft tyres and thus his chances for Q3 (1:41.016) were compromised.
- The Spaniard was unhappy about the final result, mostly because he didn’t feel as confident in the car as he wanted. He wants to improve the overall feeling ahead of tomorrow’s Sprint.
QUOTES:
“Very tricky day for me today. Since the very beginning of FP1 I didn’t felt confident in the car and with this format there is obviously no time to change and try different set up’s. Qualy was a bit of a mess as well, having to use two sets of new tyres in Q1 and therefore only leaving myself one set for Q3. I never got into a decent rhythm overall, my bad".
"I will fight back from P4 on Sunday and tonight we will focus on how I can improve the feeling in the car".
“Congrats to Charles on a great lap and securing pole for the team".
