Carlos Sainz heads to a sprint weekend in the Qatar GP

Qatar GP, Lusail International Circuit (5,419 meters, 16 corners, in the calendar since 2021)

  • Carlos returns to the Qatar GP, which held its maiden and only event to date in 2021 and that in 2022 did not make it to the calendar due to the clash with the football World Cup.
  • The Lusail circuit, with a 1-kilometer main straight and a wide range of fast and aerodynamically demanding corners, has been resurfaced since the last time that Formula 1 race there.
  • This is the fourth Sprint weekend so far this season, which means that Carlos will only have 60 minutes of practice to work on the set-up of his car before the Qualifying session.

COMING UP:

  • Free Practice: 16:30 local time (15:30 CEST)
