PREVIOUSLY:
- Carlos Sainz has always performed well in the streets of Monte-Carlo: he has scored points in all his appearances in the Monaco GP and he has always made it to Q3 in Qualifying.
- His best race result to date is a sixth place in the 2016 and 2019 events, the latter being the last Grand Prix that has taken place in the country given that in 2020 it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The Ferrari driver has 20 points after four races, which represent the best start to a Formula 1 season of his career. In 2020 he had 15 points at this stage of the Championship.
