Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (4,304 meters, 17 corners, in the calendar since 1963)
- Carlos arrives to Mexico City feeling optimistic despite the unfortunate setback he suffered in Austin. He has overcome the challenges of this season and established himself among the fastest in the grid.
- The air is so thin at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (2,238 meters above sea level) that cars create downforce levels equivalent to Monza despite running with bigger wings. The cooling of the car is also less effective than usual.
- The circuit has one of the longest straights in the calendar at 1,300 meters long and an iconic third sector where cars run through a baseball stadium.
