Carlos Sainz starts the last triple-header of the season at the Mexican GP

Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (4,304 meters, 17 corners, in the calendar since 1963)

  • Carlos is looking for his first points at the Mexican GP, the only round in the calendar in which he hasn't scored points in his previous appearences.
  • Built at an altitude of 2,235 meters, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is the highest track in the Championship. The air density is lower and thus cars surpass the barrier of 360 kph even though they don't run in a low-drag aerodynamic set-up.
  • One of the goals this weekend is to finish the race ahead of both McLarens, strengthening Ferrari's options of clinching the third place of the Constructors' Championship, which is now 3.5 points away.
