Carlos Sainz heads to the Hungarian GP before the summer break

Hungaroring (4,381 meters long, 14 corners, in the calendar since 1986)

  • Carlos has always finished the Hungarian GP in the points ever since 2016. Last year he clinched a podium by finishing third, his best result to date there.

  • The Hungaroring hosts the last round of the calendar before the summer break, with a four-week pause before the following race in Spa-Francorchamps.
  • The Magyar track is the slowest and most technical permanent circuit on the calendar and has historically been compared to Monte Carlo, albeit with no walls.
