Circuit Paul Ricard (5,842 metres long, 15 corners, in the calendar since 1971)
PREVIOUSLY:
- Carlos Sainz has always scored points ever since the French GP returned to the calendar: he was eight in 2018 and sixth in 2019.
- The Circuit Paul Ricard missed the calendar in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this weekend returns to the series.
- Given the nature of the French track Carlos foresees a similar weekend to the one of the Spanish GP.
- The French GP is one of the most historic races in motorsports. It was the first Grand Prix ever back in 1906 and its been held in 16 different circuits ever since.
