• Productive yet tricky Friday for Carlos Sainz in his home race. Although today’s lap times are not important, he was always among the fastest drivers and he was able to test small upgrades of his SF-24.
• The Spanish race driver completed a 12-lap run on Hard tyres in Free Practice 1, where he also got to test the Soft compound. In Free Practice 2, he covered 13 laps on Mediums and set the second fastest lap of the day (1:13.286) on Softs.
• Friday turned out to be a sunny day and the weather forecast for tomorrow is similar. Nevertheless, weather is expected to change significantly on Sunday. Temperatures will be cooler and there is also risk of rain during the morning hours.

We struggled a bit in both sessions to get the right balance on the car, but I think everyone had similar issues today.
