• Carlos reunited today with his fans at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which showed a fantastic fan turnout, especially for a Friday.
• The Ferrari driver tested the upgrades brought by the team to this Grand Prix and worked with the three tyre compounds available for this weekend.
• In the second practice session he clocked 15 laps on the Soft tyre and 16 on the Medium one to try an analyse its performance in race conditions.
• Tyre degradation is set to be one of the key elements of this Grand Prix, as today the temperature of the track peaked at 49ºC.

“A bit of a tricky FP2 compared to a positive FP1, struggling a bit with tyres and balance after the changes we did. We need to look at it and find the correct adjustments for tomorrow, but we’ve got plenty of data and I’m sure we’ll find a more comfortable set up. It seems like there is a lot degradation with the heat, which could be crucial for the race, so we’ll also keep an eye on that”.
