- Free Practice 1: P6, 1:31.528, 25 laps
- Free Practice 2: P11, 1:30.964, 9 laps
- Carlos mileage was cut short on Friday at the Miami GP due to a puncture in the first practice session and an incident in the second one.
- Both circumstances impeded Carlos from running on the Soft tyre, although on the other side he was able to gather 22 laps on the Medium, which is likely going to be a race compound.
- The Spanish driver will be able to run on the Soft compound on Saturday morning in practice, where he will finetune the set-up of his Ferrari F1-75 ahead of the Qualifying session.
QUOTES:
“Obviously not the best way to start the weekend after a costly snap that ends our Friday early. Still, I feel the car was competitive and I have confidence on our performance. It’s pointless to dwell on today, so we’ll put our full focus on tomorrow and the race. The extra work for the mechanics is the worse part, so I’ll definitely speak to them and the rest of the team. I look forward to tomorrow".
