-    Free Practice 2: P8, 1:21.693, 34 laps

• Carlos led the first practice of the Mexico City GP before moving on to a tyre test in the second session, just as he did in the recent United States GP.
• The Ferrari driver used the Hard and the Soft compound in the first session, in which he set the fastest lap overall: 1:20.707.
• In the afternoon, the Spaniard stuck to the run plan designed by Pirelli to test the tyre compounds of next season.
