• Carlos was the fastest driver in the second practice session, which unlike Free Practice 1 was held in dry conditions.
• It rained throughout the morning session and the Spaniard got to test the Intermediate compound, which may be necessary tomorrow in Qualifying.
• He covered many laps in the afternoon, 14 on the Hard compound and another 14 on the Soft option, on which he set the fastest lap-time of the day.

“A busy afternoon session after the lack of running in FP1. We had to put together an intense run plan for FP2 to properly check both the short run and the long run pace".

"It was quite a challenging session. The wind made it tricky to get the right balance for the high-speed and the correct compromise for tyres in low-speed. Overall we were quick, but it felt like there was margin to improve".

"Quali tomorrow could get interesting due to the weather, so those few laps in FP1 were also useful. Let’s see what tomorrow brings".
