- Carlos Sainz covered another 71 laps at the wheel of the Ferrari F1-75 in the second day of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
- The Spaniard used the C2 and C3 compounds, and for the second day in a row he went beyond the distance of the Spanish Grand Prix.
- His fastest lap, 1:20.546, enabled him to finish Thursday with a good feeling and in the fifth place of the standings. Tomorrow will be the final day of pre-season testing in Barcelona.
