- Carlos Sainz races this weekend in the Chinese GP, which returns to the calendar for the first time since 2019 after overcominh all the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The Ferrari race driver, who has won one race and clinched two more podiums in three races, arrives in Shanghai after performing his best start of the season since he became a F1 driver.
- The Spaniard foresees for his team a similar performance to the one seen in the Japanese GP, given the characteristics of the corners of the Shanghai racetrack. The added challenge in this case is that there are less practice sessions given that it is a Sprint weekend.
