Austrian GP, Red Bull Ring (4,318 meters, 10 corners, in the calendar since 1970)
- Carlos Sainz continues in the Austrian GP the first triple header of the season, which started last week with the Spanish GP in Barcelona and will finish next week with the British GP in Silverstone.
- For the first time since the Miami GP, Formula 1 will switch to the Sprint format. The Sprint Qualifying will be on Friday and the Sprint will take place on Saturday, right before the Qualifying for the Grand Prix.
- The Red Bull Ring has the shortest lap of the calendar, with lap-times that are just above the minute mark. Carlos expects an incredibly tight field among the fastest teama.
- Three times third on the grid and two times a P5 finisher in the race, among Carlos’ performances in this track there is a great comeback in 2019.
