Australian GP, Albert Park Circuit (5,278 meters, 14 corners, in the calendar since 1996)
- The Australian GP kickstarts Carlos Sainz’s twelfth season as a Formula 1 race driver, which is also his second year with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team. Carlos made his Formula 1 debut in Melbourne and it was here that he clinched one of his race wins in 2024.
- The weekend as a whole will be a challenge, but the three practice sessions will be specially important to finetune the car given the profound regulatory change that the sport has experienced over the winter.
- Carlos will be using a new helmet for the season, developed by the Italian manufacturer Stilo. He will be using the ST6 ABP helmet, made of carbon fibre. Its livery is an evolution of last year’s concept, although with a more minimalist, straight-forward and brutalist approach and a more prominent Spanish flag.
